 After landing we loaded into two vans and made the 3-hour trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where the competition was held. |
 Still driving: Mike, Kurt, Jason in the backseat; Ty, Ryan, and Abigail in the middle; with Dr. Howard and Jeff in the front seat. |
 We stopped for some food and spirits and a brew-pub in Socorro Springs, NM about halfway to Las Cruces. Around the table: Ryan, Dr. Gulino, Kurt, Jason, Scott, Ty, Abigail, and Dr. Howard. |
